Reina, es hermoso ver marcando mi camino tu pisada pequeña o ver tus ojos enredándose en todo lo que miro, ver despertar tu rostro cada día sumergirse en el mismo fragmento de sombra cada noche. Hermoso es ver el tiempo que corre como el mar contra una sóla proa formada por tus senos y mi pecho, por tus pies y mis manos. Pasan por tu perfil olas del tiempo, las mismas que me azotan y me encienden, olas como furiosas dentelladas de frío y olas como los granos de la espiga. Pero estamos juntos, resistimos, guardando tal vez espuma negra o roja en la memoria, heridas que palpitaron como labios o alas. Vamos andando juntos por calles y por islas, bajo el violín quebrado de las ráfagas frente a un dios enemigo, sencillamente juntos una mujer y un hombre. II AQUELLOS que no han sentido cada día del mundo caer sobre la doble máscara del navío, no la sal sino el tiempo, no la sombra sino el paso desnudo de la dicha, cómo podrán cerrar los ojos, los ojos solitarios y dormir? No me gusta la casa sin tejado, la ventana sin vidrios. No me gusta el día sin trabajo, ni la noche sin sueño. No me gusta el hombre sin mujer, ni la mujer sin hombre. Complétate, hombre o mujer, que nada te intimide. En algún sitio ahora están esperándote. Levántate: tiembla la luz en las campanas, nacen las amapolas, tienes que vivir y amasar con barro y luz tu vida. Si sobre dos cabezas cae la nieve es dulce el corazón caliente de la casa. De otra manera, en la intemperie, el viento te pregunta: dónde está la que amaste? y te empuja, mordiéndote, a buscarla. Media mujer es una y un hombre es medio hombre. En media casa viven; duermen en medio lecho. Yo quiero que las vidas se integren encendiendo los besos hasta ahora apagados. Yo soy el buen poeta casamentero. Tengo novias para todos los hombres. Todos los días veo mujeres solitarias que por ti me preguntan. Te casaré, si quieres, con la hermana de la sirena reina de las islas. Por desgracia, no puedes casarte con la reina, porque me está esperando. Se casará conmigo.
