In July 2004 I participated in the Army Corps of Engineer's annual count of the Least Tern, an endangered water bird, on the lower Mississippi. I'll have more information here about the results of the count when they become available - for now, here are some photos I took on the river between Cape Girardeau, MO and Dyersburg, TN.
